Title: Dystopian
Edition of 50
Signed, numbered and blind-embossed with a pointy-toothed bear.
This image is definitely unconsciously influenced by JG Ballard's
latest novel, 'Kingdom Come', and forms part of a body of work that I
did along with Doktor Tchock just before we decided to go almost
completely abstract with the 'in rainbows' artwork. It was a difficult
decision to take, as images like this were hard not to use.
It's partly an expression of this crazy idea that I had that people
were conditioned from childhood to treat shopping and shopping malls as
religiously totalitarian icons of desire.
There aren't very many of these prints, as they were a fucker to do.
Technically speaking.
Print size: 57cm x 42cm
Paper size: 81cm x 64cm
